Virtual Liberland Metaverse City designed by Zaha Hadid Architects

Nowadays, architectural development is no longer within physical limitations, currently, architectural development has been sovereign in the Metaverse, previously Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) designed Vice's cyber headquarters in the Metaverse.

Recently, Zaha Hadid Architects created a "cyber-urban" city in the metaverse, where people can buy a plot of land with cryptocurrency and enter these digital buildings as avatars. Named the Liberland Metaverse, this virtual city is based on the Free Republic of Liberland, where a real micronation is located between Croatia and Serbia.

This virtual world is intended as a template and aid in the development of the real Liberland and the people who buy a piece of land in this virtual city will also have a stake in the physical field.

According to their website, the Metaverse designed by ZHA serves as "a virtual industry synergy and network center for crypto projects, crypto companies, and crypto events." The virtual world will feature structures in ZHA's futuristic design that are different with some form of installation that looks floating and is different from the traditional structural rules required in the real world.

ZHA's chief architect Patrik Schumacher said, "while the Liberland Metaverse is intended to spearhead the development of Liberland as a libertian micronation, it will also serve as a free-standing virtual reality world in itself."

In line with the characteristics of ZHA who designed all buildings with a curvaceous, winding shape, and rounded corners. However, many buildings have elements that are not supported from the ground or something impossible with gravity in the real world. 

Seen at Liberland City Hall, which is the heart of the city center has a multi-storey street that wraps around the building. Inside, the bench is arranged in a horseshoe configuration with a Liberland flag that can be seen hanging on the wall.
