Aman Hospitality already has a lineup of luxury hotels located in stunning locations around the world. Right next to the Aman Miami Beach Residences Tower project there is also a building owned by Aman which is being restored led by Jean-Michel Gathy from Denniston to become the Aman Miami Beach Hotel. The restored building has an Art-Deco style that influences the design of the residences next door. The Aman Miami Beach Residences residential tower has a basic concept of combining the vibrant city spirit with the serene harmony of nature. Contemporary style is applied to the Aman Miami Beach Residences Tower and the use of natural wood pallets creates harmony with nature.

The Aman Miami Beach Residences Tower is designed to see the beach and sea views freely utilizing the base of the building being raised 3 floors above the ground supported by a vertical structure wrapped in wood, the application of this structure gives the impression of a lightweight building mass and forms a stage. The positive effect of making the building like a stage is that the architect hopes that the settlements behind this building can still see the view of the beach and sea from a distance. The Aman Miami Beach Residences Tower has 18 floors, with gently curved corners at each floor boundary. On the ground floor, all use transparent glass material, so that it can show a smooth vertical wooden lattice. This building serves 23 private residences from Aman. The secondary skin on each floor uses wood materials which is useful for protecting the terrace and windows from direct sunlight.

Within the main atrium of the Aman Miami Beach Residences Tower, residents are greeted by a parametric ‘flying tree’ canopy of special wooden lattices. These expressive elements show a harmonious blend of traditional materials with modern technology. From a design that is designed to have a subtle, calm architecture, and is rooted in the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, which is to accept imperfection and make the most of life. The designed vision reflects Aman’s ethos of serenity, silence, and uncomplicated magic.
