The Tan90° Bar Design Invites the Imagination with a Neuron-like Shape
AD Architecture tries to explore form in commercial designs with unique ideas that have never been applied before. For example, Tan90° Bar is a project that applies the results of transformation shapes resembling neurons that branch into interior design. This shape is applied to the center of the design that connects all areas of the room, such as the function of nerve cells that are connected to send and receive signals from the brain.

Located in Shenzhen's OCT-Loft Creative Cultural Park, surrounded by culture and art, the bar has a unique site environment with renovated factories, lush greenery, and old trees. Therefore, designers think of ways to make memorable and interesting customer innovations.
"The twisted space is like exploring the logic of the law of freedom, which becomes a means of connecting the space to business, all to gain new energy, which is the meaning of an 'unknown script'." AD Architecture explained.
Innovative and out of the box design by AD Architecture
A bar is in the middle of the building, with wine bottle storage racks in the background. The design of the bar table is made to blend with the shape of white nerve cells, which are also the supporting structure of the building. This form was created to want to create a spatial world that is complex and full of visual variation. A room full of imagination can flexibly switch between the leisure of a café during the day and the excitement of a whiskey bar at night. To add to the visual impression, the background of the wine rack is brightly lit between the dim rooms.

In addition to exploring form, AD Architecture also strengthens existing forms with psychedelic imagery, which creates storytelling scenes with a strong sense of experience with customer activities sitting and enjoying dishes on tables and chairs that seem hidden. As well as interior elements in the form of walls, floors, and ceilings united by a dynamic neuronal structure.
"The chief designer, Xie Peihe, wants the space to be enriched by user participation, as the effect of instantaneous fragmentation. Although these images can make people feel the story, they are indefinable, or in the designer's words, they are "psychedelic images". These fragmented images constantly emerge and fade, creating experiences full of surprises," said AD Architecture.

In addition to indoor space, this bar is equipped with outdoor facilities and a surrounding area filled with green vegetation. This area with tables and chairs for two people is for customers who want to enjoy the fresh air outdoors. With its unique visuals and wide range of amenities, AD Architecture successfully creates influence and impression for the bar, attracts customers, and empowers its commercial operations.
