Therefore, the existence of public facilities such as toilets is crucial and becomes the primary need of the community when in a public environment. Built beside the entrance of Ebisu station, Kashiwa Sato thought about how toilets could look elegant and not describe "public toilets" conventionally. Then, this public toilet facility wrap in a white aluminum grille that creates a bright and clean feel, distancing itself from the image of a shabby and unkempt public toilet. The Tokyo Toilet is designed in a square shape with four toilet booths inside. This toilet is even more attractive with warm white light that fills the space until it penetrates the outer area through the gaps in the grid.

"The aluminum grille gives it a bright and light feel, and we've tried to create a serene look that blends naturally with the cityscape." The SAMURAI studio said.

In addition, Kashiwa Sato also added a pictogram used to inform the various facilities inside this public toilet, which is depicted with icons.

The construction project of "The Tokyo Toilet" also contributes to the development of public facilities needed by the community with a design that is clean, safe, harmonious, and accepting of diversity. Based on the overall design, Kashiwa Sato has improved safety, both from the outside and inside the public toilets.
