Roca is back to holding the One Day Design Challenge on July 22, 2023. This annual design competition is held in various cities worldwide, including Jakarta. At the Roca Experience Center Senopati, Jakarta, this competition is specifically for students and professionals in design and architecture who are under 30 years old.

This year, the One Day Design Challenge uses the tagline "1 Day, 1 Challenge, 1 Design, 4 Prizes". As the name suggests, the One Day Design Challenge's participants were challenged to create innovative solutions and concepts related to bathroom space in just one day. This limited time is Roca's main goal in promoting and providing exposure to participants to show their best talents and critical potential.

During the 9 hours of competition, participants will be given an issue or case study that must be solved through creative solutions to create future sustainable innovations related to bathroom space. Furthermore, the judges, as a professional in the field of design and architecture, will assess each participant's work by prioritizing originality, creativity, and feasibility of ideas.

Apart from being challenged to forge themselves in creating solutive creative works, the participants also had the opportunity to see more closely how the professional environment works in design and architecture.
