This Earth 2.0 Represents Seashell for Desert and Beverage Store
This Earth 2.0 is the second branch of a dessert and drink store located in Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), North Jakarta, Indonesia. Its location close to the beach is the idea of Seniman Ruang in presenting the unique concept to welcome the customers, most of whom are teenagers.

The design of This Earth 2.0 requires Seniman Ruang to consider the design concept because of its typology as a commercial building. So, this 48-square-meter pop-up building has a mission to maximize space flexibility, comfort, and aesthetics to provide a memorable experience for visitors.

With the main idea of celebrating one of the earth's elements, the Seniman Ruang adopted the shape of a clam with a curved shaped iron pipe structure. Its structural performance relies on the iron pipe's three-dimensional curved ribs, which gradually increase towards the center of the building. Its iron structure is covered with translucent membranes that further accentuate the seashell visual, this defines the shape of the roof and walls.

This structure serves to withstand the load and add aesthetics to the building. Entering the interior of This Earth 2.0, visitors will pass through the entrance in the middle of the seashell that opens to the ordering place that blends into the kitchen and bar. Then, Seniman Ruang arranged a dine-in area on the side with a few steps with an open view to the outside.
"The elevated floor of the building aims to achieve the required functional space area within the seashell structure, where the space below serves as a mechanical and electrical space for kitchen appliances and air conditioning," Seniman Ruang said.

This Earth 2.0 has created communication between architecture and nature, by adopting inspiration from the simplicity of the seashell shape that creates aesthetic value in buildings.
