Attitude on St-Denis is a boutique beauty retailer on a mission to make the world healthier and more sustainable. Design studio MRDK (Ménard Dworkind) designed the interior of the Attitude boutique to reflect the ongoing focus on cosmetic products sold. The 93-square-meter store is styled to evoke a "journey through nature", visible to the naked eye through the concepts and designs displayed.

When outside the store, customers will see a windshield window displaying a bunch of greenery and chunks of granite stone to display products. When entering the store, customers will feel the tiled floor raised to create the impression of crossing a sidewalk equipped with planted beds in some parts.

MRDK also added a large granite chunk in the middle of the space as the focal point of the boutique. This large granite has a shape and texture that carries the meaning "over time" due to its appearance as if it has been sculpted by natural forces throughout the ages. This center perfectly complements the natural theme of the room. In this area, there is also a pair of sinks that have unique carvings on the top.

Most of the Attitude's products are displayed on white oak shelves that emerge from the expanse of plants on either side of the store. With white poles and supported by frosted glass, the rack matches the rectangular checkout counter at the back featuring the Attitude brand.

To perfect the concept of sustainability brought into its design, MRDK also designed a part of the space that supports customer needs. These areas are called refill stations, which customers can use to refill water bottles they carry to quench their thirst while shopping.

MRDK can seamlessly and beautifully blend the concepts of sustainability and nature by Attitude to St-Denis' commitment to offering plastic-free beauty products. In addition, the design of this space can create a sense of connection between people and the environment in an immersive and calming way, making customers feel comfortable and unknowingly take the time to enjoy a quiet shopping experience.
