HENN Brings Luxury To Ritz-Carlton AURA Restaurant
The AURA restaurant of the five-star hotel, Ritz-Carlton Wolfsburg, Germany, offers a unique view characterized by light colors, soft textures, and natural ingredients. Designed by an architectural studio, the 377-square-meter restaurant by HENN accommodates a breakfast room and event space inspired by the coastal landscape.

HENN explained, "The main point in this design is flexibility, where this room has two functions in one room (event room and dining room)." Completing the function of each space, HENN presents Filegreed Screens which function as partitions to make it easier to widen the space needed.

Aura restaurant is formed in a curved steel and glass room. In it, HENN designed three different spatial zones to evoke the feel of the coastal landscape. The middle area of the berthing room is complete with a fireplace that is functioned to create a relaxed atmosphere while warming the room in winter. In another area, three buffet tables described as islands are clad in natural stone and glass on top. The next area is the dining area, in this area HENN specially designed furniture to harmonize the steel and glass facades.

In its design, HENN designed several details with an artisanal touch to create a luxurious impression in this five-star hotel restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant visitors will be amazed by the elegant glass chandelier specially ordered from the famous lamp shop in Canada, Bocci. Other details are carpets and sofas sewn directly by Berlin-based design firm Reuber & Henning.

In addition, the gilded table lamp from Paul Matter Monolith adds to the luxurious feel with its delicate shine. Finally, HENN presents his work in a painting that wraps around the wall panels of the Ritz-Carlton AURA Restaurant.
