A Distinctive Pizza Restaurant Covered in White Hue
Unlike common pizza restaurants, this pizza restaurant, located in Pantai Indah Kapuk, Jakarta, is painted in a white hue which presents a distinctive interior design.

Aaksen Responsible Architecture who is the person behind this unique interior design, revealed their motives in creating an aesthetic in the appearance of the restaurant design which is to attract the attention of diners. It also becomes a challenge in itself because of the homogeneous physicality of the shophouse. Therefore, the team designed a striking entrance as a mandatory thing to attract attention as well as to distinguish it from the general shophouses.

In the front, a minimalist door with translucent glass welcomes visitors while also adding an eye-catching element to the restaurant. In addition, Aaksen Responsible Architecture also uses glass block material that can channel fine light from the interior area to the outside scenery.

In this project, Aaksen Responsible Architecture provides a pizza-eating experience with a new atmosphere, where the pizzeria is usually synonymous with a retro atmosphere, but a minimalist design style with an all-white color is presented by the architect in the interior to create a clean and comfortable modern atmosphere. This all-white atmosphere presents its own experience for pizza connoisseurs because they will feel a warm meal but together also feel the cold and cool from the interior of Sliced Pizza.
(The kitchen area is designed with translucent glass and glass blocks to harmonize the concept of the space)
To bring the atmosphere the client wanted, Aaksen Responsible Architecture started by rearranging the layout and designing the shape of each piece of furniture to appear in harmony with the identity of the pizzeria itself. The interior space is experimentally designed with a diagonal shape that is sliced and given a touch of curved and circular elements that represent the visualization of pizza.

In a limited space of 60 square meters, Aaksen Responsible Architecture arranged the layout of the main seat in a diagonal position to maximize the free space at the bottom of the stairs which some consider to be dead space. In this main area, the entire area is finished with white galvalume with the addition of ornamental trees painted white to align with the concept of a clean space. Lights with warm white light provide a dynamic atmosphere on every spatial line and clean geometric shapes.
