In the world of design, especially interior design, a man named Sammy Hendramianto Syamsulhadi is often called Sammy. After completing his education at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), this Bogor-born man has further strengthened his career position in the field of interior design through various experiences that have been carried out in his 28 years as a Senior Associate at Hadiprana.

He is known for his designs that visually have bold and highly detailed design characteristics. In his design process to produce results with international standard design qualifications, Sammy always pays attention to everything, both in terms of proportion and scale composition, and shape. Everything is thought out to make the resulting design harmonious and in tune.

Experienced in designing projects, including residences, offices, restaurants, and five-star hotels. Including renovation projects at the Grand Hyatt Jakarta, Horizon Hanoi, and Pantai Sanur Bali. His various works have also been exhibited at Elite Grahacipta, Gelar Batik Nusantara, “Art of Table Setting” Galeri Hadiprana, “Treasure of Indonesia” Grand Indonesia, and “Pesta Tenun” Ritz Carlton Jakarta Ballroom.

He has diversified his design style and portfolio since starting his own design firm, SHS Associates, in 2013 based in South Jakarta. Having confidence in a design is an ongoing process that will continue to develop over time, and as a designer will always strive to create innovative and timeless designs. Through his personal design consultant, he tries to hold on to several philosophies regarding work ethic, including trust as the basis of communication, friendship that balances chemistry and understanding, and responsibility that must be proven at the end of the project.
His concern for Indonesian culture can often be seen clearly in his design of ornaments such as furniture, artwork, gifts, and accessories obtained from the works of local Indonesian craftsmen. This further adds to the contemporary impression using traditional elements typical of Indonesia.
Together with 11 other interior designers who are members of ID12 (12 Indonesian Interior Designers), including Agam Riadi, Anita Boentarman, Ary Juwono, Eko Priharseno, Joke Roos, Prasetio Budhi, Reza Wahyudi, Roland Adam, Shirley Gouw, Vivianne Faye, and Yuni Jie. Every two years, The Colours of Indonesia exhibition, presents an exhibition with a design concept that is the result of the designers' interpretation to create a variety of innovative design works that are open to the public. With the same goal of wanting to bring the world of domestic design to a higher level by presenting it elegantly with international standards.
