Embracing coastal design and tradition in Lisbon, Portugal, the interior of Anfibio features strip patterns inspired by fishermen's cottages and the blue coast of Portuguese beaches, becoming a perfect place for Portuguese gastronomy lovers. 

The interior design of Anfibio by Bacana Studio 

Situated at Avenida Infante Dom Henrique in Lisbon, the restaurant is aptly named as it's partially submerged in the mouth of the Tagus River. Designed by Ingrid Aparicio, a visionary interior designer at Bacana Studio, and João Luís Carrilho da Graça, a renowned local architect, the core design is inspired by the captivating reflections of the sun on the water. The exceptional design concept merges the duality of the sea and the land in a way guaranteed to captivate all senses.

The space is divided into several zones without walls or other separations to present a fluid circulation and spacious dining area. Once stepping into this restaurant, the sun's dazzling reflections on the water appear on the mirrored ceiling and green water wooden floor. This mirrored ceiling further enhances the interior by reflecting the indoor lighting, creating a unique and mesmerizing atmosphere, merging with the boats' light and evoking the river's sheer beauty.

The interior design incorporates the classic Portuguese fisherman cottage stripes and coastal awnings, adding aesthetics that pay tribute to the local tradition and maritime essence. The restaurant's outdoor area prominently features natural materials like wood and wicker, which blend the restaurant with the city and the authenticity of its region.
