Ferrari World Abu Dhabi Building Curves as Yas' 'Spiritual Center'
Designed by Benoy and completed in 2010, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is located on Abu Dhabi's Yas Island, an artificial island serving as a cultural landmark of Abu Dhabi. The building was designed by Benoy as Yas' 'spiritual center,' with a theme park revolution that reflects the integrity of the Ferrari brand with its history of "Cavallino Rampante" (prancing horse) and Abu Dhabi's ambitions.

The shape of this building is inspired by the chassis shape of a classic Ferrari car with double curves on the bodywork, resulting in a large badge-like building shape with three corners with the Ferrari logo in the middle. In addition, Benoy uses Ferrari's proud red color on almost all buildings, especially on the steel plate façade, which is also the roof of this building, this red color presents a unique contrast to the sandy Yas area. Benoy also presents natural lighting, creating a tunnel in the middle of the building using processed glass that can absorb heat and sun glare. Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is built with an area of 86,000 square meters and designed using the main structure in the form of steel and cast concrete in several parts. Benoy also designed an indoor park in several strategic locations, such as around the roller coaster track.

This theme park is the first theme park for Ferrari. In this park, there are several rides aimed at all ages. Among several attractions is Formula Rossa, a roller coaster ride that offers the same G-force felt as driving an F1 race car at speeds over 200 kilometers per hour and single-seater acceleration and braking characteristics. Modeled after a single-seater Formula 1 route of 2.07 kilometers, it is the fastest roller coaster ride on the planet. Another interesting game is the 60-meter "G-Force Tower," one of the most impressive attractions and the most intense "free fall" experiences in the world. The G-force 1.7G is similar to what Formula 1 drivers cope with when in their cars during a Grand Prix.
